Verses to Dwell In

Psalm 91:1 (KJV)

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

The secret place is not a location, Beloved. It is a posture — a leaning in. To dwell is to keep returning until returning is the only place you know.

Psalm 46:10 (KJV)

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."

Before doing, being. Before speaking, listening. Stillness is the first altar.

Song of Solomon 2:10 (KJV)

"Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away."

He is not calling you to strive — He is calling you to Him.

Quiet-Time Guides

A Framework for Stillness

Prepare

Silence the phone. Light a candle. Whisper His name until the room settles.

Read

Open the KJV. Read slowly — twice. Underline the word that will not leave you.

Respond

Journal what He spoke, and what you struggled to hear. Both are prayer.

Rest

Sit in the quiet a while longer than is comfortable. Let Him have the last word.
