Worship is not the absence of storm. It is the melody I choose to move in while the storm still speaks. The dark does not stop the song; it only proves the song is real — not dependent on circumstances, but anchored in Someone.
There is a difference between singing because things are well and singing until things are well. The first is happiness; the second is faith. The first depends on the weather; the second outlasts it.
I have danced in the dark — not because I felt like it, but because He was worthy in the wind, too. And slowly, the dancing changed the dark. Not by removing it, but by redeeming it.
If you are in a storm tonight, choose one note of praise. Just one. He is worthy in the wind, and He will meet you in the movement.
“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
